Once there was a girl at heart. One that's never truly seen.

When an evil was placed upon her world,

she could feel her own demise.

Through the forest of her dreams, hidden in the vines was a lioness once left behind to pray upon the shy. The lioness approached her and let a fearsome sigh.

In the forest of her dreams, weakness became her knees

As the shadows started creeping she lay upon the ground.

And right before her eyes,

the forest started shooting towards the sky. That dream she was living, slowly faded out of sight.

As the girl watched, she was overcame with fright.

The lioness stood watching, not a muscle did she move.

From within strength was found and with a deep breath

The girl slowly started to walk among the shadows.

As she opened up her heart

you wouldn't believe what she found.

The lioness was no longer there, in her place, a river grew. The shadows were not shadows after all,

but the souls of those who feared. She felt her heart open up,

for the weakness that she held slowly disappeared and her fears were no longer her fears but those of the souls that never understood what truly was.

Once there was a girl at heart, one that’s never truly seen. The hatred of others, finally showing their face. As she walked through the forest, she was no longer shy. She walked right up to the lioness, and spoke very kindly.

"I see why you are here,

and now I see what we all have missed.

Please stop your tears, for I will never forget you here.

The world has lots of problems, and most can be fixed.

I will walk by your side

and show others what they too have missed.

Upon approaching their dreams, I will lay a kiss. The river will start flowing, the souls will overtake.

Their dreams will fade into the night

and we will begin our journey once again".

Soon I hope to turn this into a children's book. Keep to date and JOIN my mailing list!
