This story started with a Word Search game I played on Twitter and some were kind enough to help! I posted a word search asked others to choose the first three words they found and post them in the comments below. Once they chose their words I started our story.
I had a dream once that the universe was the size of a shooter marble. I used to love playing with that marble growing up (even if I didn’t understand how to play marbles). As I held this fascinating piece of clear glass in my hand, watching it slowly spin as if it were rotating on an axis within the grand universe itself. The beautiful colors, swirling like gases, sending stories into orbit within my soul. It is fair to assume, that not far from where I sit, there is another person looking into their own ever-growing marble, with stories yet to be told. Within this giant universe, I hold part of a key to a story just waiting to be released which swirls within their head and sets in their soul. Each different star in this galaxy we have written has a new story to be discovered. I choose one star to share mine and allow part of my soul, to start a whole new orbit around this written world that feels like home.
There is one story, of many, orbiting my world. I call it: How to Eat a Sour Grape. This story is a wondrous one. I believe it is fair to say a part of each writer will always be out there floating around inside a marble, in the hand of someone who treasures it, just as I treasured my shooter marble. I can see why this galaxy has grown so many stars over the years.
What do you do when you find yourself in an atmosphere unlike your own?
I will give you a clue: I just write myself into it.
Now, it is up to you to post a word search and help continue this story!! #WrittenWorlds so we can keep track of the progress!
